Ayten Köse
She was born in Mardin. She graduated from İzmir Buca Institute of Education, Department of Painting in 1976. Qualifying in second place for the preliminary examination of the main art department, she completed her undergraduate degree at Dokuz Eylül University Buca Faculty of Education, Department of Painting in 1987. She worked as a teacher for 20 years in state schools and at several private courses. She continues painting and caricatures at her own  workshop in İzmir. The artist has been engaged in over 50 personal art activities and participated in many art and caricature exhibits. She is a member of GESAM and ISBD.
